Laine Slatton is a practiced Grant Writer and Researcher, with experience in proposal development, report creation, and prospect research, for individual, foundation, corporate, and government sources. Laine brings to Firefly more than a decade of nonprofit experience and a MPA in Nonprofit Management from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

Laine has worked with a number of nonprofits in fundraising, project management, and administrative roles. At Firefly, she has worked with clients across the nonprofit sector, including organizations in the fields of social and human services, the arts, education, healthcare, land management, sustainability, community building, and more. Laine’s experience also extends to research and writing work with for-profit companies in additive manufacturing, renewable energy, and filmmaking.

Laine holds a BA from Vanderbilt University. She recently returned to Nashville, where she lives on the East Side with her husband and two sons.
